| Thank you for showing an interest in opening up your very own Gem & Bead Gallery Franchise and welcome to the world of small business ownership! We are very excited to soon offer this new program to our friends and customers because we've seen the tremendous growth in this industry first-hand and are now ready to pass along what we've learned to our new Franchisees. Under our Franchise program, the location will be owned 100% by you, the Franchisee. We (the Corporate office) will do the following: 1) Provide the GBG trade name and corporate logos to be used at new locations, 2) Train the owners in operating the business (inventory, ordering, HR, marketing, client services, merchandise, etc) (off-site), 3) Train some of your key employees (off-site), 4) Provide a turn-key layout for the new store (uniform colors & logo), 5) Advisory service for finding a good location in your market area (upon request), 6) Franchisee Manual with details on a variety of in-store scenarios, 7) Customer support 7 days a week, 8) Jewelry-making techniques passed on to owner/manager, 9) Constant updates on new designs, styles, and fashion trends, 10) Forms for daily sales sheets, employee management, invoices, etc, AND.... 11) We import gemstones/findings/materials from factories overseas every month, therefore we will be able to send new shipments (monthly) to our Franchisees in order to re-stock their shelves. This has been one of the keys to our successful corporate locations. With our cost basis so low, the margins are strong enough that our Franchisees will be able to sell wholesale and retail, which is an important part of the business model. With this strategic advantage, the Franchisees will be able to compete with other local stores on price and selection.
